Nephrology

Overview
The Nephrology Fellowship at Garden City Hospital will provide comprehensive clinical and didactic exposure, supplemented by arranged rotations at affiliated sites. Successful completion of the structured curriculum of 24 months of training in Nephrology will meet the requirements for board eligibility in this specialty through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.  Clinical content includes inpatient and outpatient consultation, management of acute and chronic kidney disease including extensive experience in dialysis.

Jason Biederman, DO, FACOI, FASN

 


Dr. Biederman is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Following a residency in Internal Medicine at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, he completed a one-year research fellowship and a two-year clinical fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.  Dr. Biederman is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
