Traditional Internship (OGME-1)
Internship Overview Garden City Hospital offers an excellent first year experience with great flexibility. TRI interns can design their rotation schedule to best meet their needs. For those students who require a transitional year or an osteopathic internship prior to residency, GCH can arrange for you to take your last rotation as an elective at your residency institution. This will allow you to complete your internship requirements and smooth the transition to your next year of training. For those who are undecided or still pursuing a residency program, one 4-week outrotation is permitted.
