Community Information

Garden City Hospital is located in the suburban community of Garden City, Michigan.  The community was developed shortly after World War I as a suburban location for autoworkers looking for houses with lots large enough for gardens. The community's name is derived from its residents' long-time interest in landscaping and gardening.

Nearby communities include:  Canton, Dearborn, Livonia, Redford and Westland.  Affordable housing and safe neighborhoods in a variety of price ranges are within a short drive.

Air travel
The Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is a short drive away, providing easy access.
